- Summary:
- Commonplace book or autograph album with poems and illustrations: watercolors of floral, pastoral, and maritime subjects; pencil drawings (some unfinished); collages, a pressed pansy. Also includes a lithograph portrait of Robert Stephen Hawker of Morwenstow and a poem, beginning "Bird of the moths.." signed R. S. Hawker, Morwenstow, April xv 1841. Some place names in the album are associated with Cornwall.

- Compiler unidentified; written in several hands, on several types of white, pink, and green paper, some with watermarks SLADE 1824; W WEATHERLEY 1826; and Creswich.
- No pagination [88 ff.], 38 ff. blank.
- Binding: contemporary gilt brown morocco; "Album" on spine.
- One item (watercolor or drawing) was removed from album.
