- Comprises verses and essays on marriage; epitaphs; poems by Leigh Hunt, Robert Southey, Hannah More, Anna Seward, Cowper, Chaucer, Byron, and Sheridan. Also includes excerpts on St. Agnes, Lorenzo de Medici, and Mozart; thoughts on the marriage of Princess Charlotte of Wales and many poems, elegies, and essays on her death. There are some verses by the writer and her cousin Sarah Tayler; one item on "Passion" in the hand of Marianne Tayler. List of contents on the final pages and inside covers.
