Script: Written in a cursive script by a single hand.
Decoration: Frontispiece with coat of arms in red and brown ink with the motto "Et Rege eos firmissimum, libertatis, munimentum" with page cut off at the bottom (p. iii); diagrams and tables in red and brown ink throughout.
Binding: Contemporary black tooled leather with "H. P." on spine and upper cover; clasps missing. Some worm damage on covers; a few folded leaves are torn; damage to leather on upper and lower edges of spine.
Origin: Written in Genoa in 1639 (p. ii).
