Penn Libraries copy: "This copy has been very heavily annotated by a contemporary hand, who writes with fluency and beauty. Throughout the volume, variant readings, apparently from other editions and from manuscripts are carefully noted, and printing errors have also been corrected. Most of the commentary of Antonio Volsco on Propertius has also been copied into the margins (this commentary first printed in 1482), and there are quotes from Beroaldus, Aldus on the poetics of Catullus (from 1502 ed., probably), Poliziano (distinctions between different types of poetic feet), Eusebius (the span of Catullus' life), etc., etc. Also a variety of classical authors are of course quoted."--Bookseller's description.
