- Summary:
- This is a collection of poems for the library minded that grew out of poet and librarian David Drake's desire "to poeticize the things and personages of our library world" and his belief that the charm and excitement of libraries is oft overlooked. The poems deal with both universal themes and those common to librarians, and range from amusing to sharp, thoughtful to capricious. The poems are divided into six sections: Arenas of Possibility; Librarians/Cybrarians; The Reading Life; Our Patrons, Ourselves; The Writing Life; and Tools of the Trade.
