- In May 2001, the Finnish Parliament ratified the Decision in Principle (DiP) on the final disposal facility for spent nuclear fuel at Olkiluoto. An NEA workshop held in November 2001 presented the history leading up to the DiP and examined future perspectives, with an emphasis on the stepwise decision-making process, stakeholder involvement, and confidence building.
