Or a catalogue of sinnes", "The spirituall touchstone or, The signes of a godly man", "The signes of the wicked man", "The promises: or, A treatise shewing how a godly Christian may support his heart with comfort", "The rules of a holy life", "The cure of the feare of death", and "The paterne of wholsome words". Each has separate title page; each was previously published.
"Beginning with this edition quire 2E was split into two sections: 2E8 ending the text of 4 and having on 2E8r a sub tp for 5 (cf. 4228sqq.), with instructions that the treatise be placed here; and *2E4 having the prelims. for 6. Where 5 is present and properly placed in a volume, the 2E8r sub tp is usually cancelled. The Cambridge University Library copy has 4228 added at the end of the vol., and retains the 2E8r sub tp: Principles, third edition, f[or]. P. Stephens a[nd]. C. Meredith, 1628." (STC).
