The pamphlets referred to were the anonymous "L'histoire de la mort que le r.p. Edmond Campion et autres ont souffert en Angleterre", and Thomas Alfield's "A true reporte of the death & martyrdome of M. Campion Jesuite and preiste, & M. Sherwin, & M. Bryan priestes, at Tiborne the first of December 1581".
A variant of the edition with imprint "Imprinted .. by Iohn Charlewood ..".
