A short and true discourse for satisfying all those vvho not knovving the truth, speake indiscreetly of hir most excellent Maiestie, of the Lord Willughby Gouernour of hir Maiesties succours in the vnited prouinces of the Low countries, and of all the English nation: by occasion of a strange placcat of the 17. of April 1589. the new stile, put foorth by certaine particular persons (as is said) vnder the name of the General States of those vnited prouinces. By which discourse, euery one is praied and required to speake well and honorably of th'actions of those estates generall lawfully assembled. Together with an extraict of the authentique euidences and proofes for the chiefe poincts of this discourse, whereunto they are directed by respectiue quotation of page and line.
