A sermon, no lesse fruitfull, then famous : Preached at Pauls Crosse, on the Sunday of Quinquagesima, by R. Wimbledon, in the reigne of K. Henry the fourth, in the yeere of our Lord God, 1388, and found out hidde in a wall. Attributed in several 15th-century MS. sources to Thomas Wimbledon. John Foxe, and editions of the sermon from 1582 onwards, also attribute it to an R. Wimbeldon, which has been expanded without apparent justification to Robert or Richard Wimbledon (Halkett & Laing).
