The title page is a cancel, with a conjugate blank. The original title page lacks the mention of "The agony of Christ".
"The golden chaine of mans salvation" was first published by itself in 1606 as "The sermon preached before the King, at White-Hall, on Tuesday the eight of Januarie. 1604". "The fearefull point of hardening" was first published in 1605 as "An other sermon preached before the King at Greenewich on Tuesday before Easter, being the 26. of March. 1605". "The churches sleepe" was first published in 1606. "The agony of Christ" is a reissue of "The copie of a sermon preached on the first Friday in Lent before the King at Whitehall" (STC 17691).
The last three leaves are blank.
