- After restoring an antiquated streetcar, two men learn that the vehicle will be taken out of commission. They decide to take one last drive in which they pick up an unusual array of passengers. The picaresque adventures take the form of a Mexican "Alice in Wonderland" with elements of political, social, and religious satire expressed in the form of a delightful fairy tale.
