Chancery folio, text surrounded by commentary. Leaf a5r: 58 lines of commentary; area of text: 231 x 145 mm. Initial spaces with guide letters; spaces for Greek words. Captions on leaves a2r and a4r printed in red. With signatures; without foliation or catchwords. Woodcut printer's device (73 x 39 mm.; white on black) of Platone de' Benedetti on leaf s4r: "The letters, 'PLA', refer to the printer's nickname, Plato. The hand raised in benediction is a play on his surname, Benedictus"--M. Harman, Printer's and publisher's devices in incunabula in the University of Illinois Library, no. 46. Register on leaf s4r.
