Imprint from colophon on leaf S8r, which reads: Viro[rum] illustrium uitae ex Plutarcho Graeco in latinu[m[ uersae: soletri[que] cura emendatae foeliciter expliciunt: Venetiis imp[re]ssae [per] Bartolameu[m] de Zanis de Portesio Anno n[ost]ri saluatoris. 1496. die octo Me[n]sis Iunius.
Super-chancery(?) folio. Leaf a3r: 62 lines, plus headline; area of text: 245 (248) x 157 mm. Woodcut initials. Initial space with guide letter on leaf F1r. With signatures and foliation; without catchwords. Large woodcut illustration (108 x 118 mm.) of Theseus fighting a centaur on leaf a2r; text and illustration on leaf a2r printed within a decorative woodcut border. Register on leaf s10v.
Signatures: a-r⁸ s¹⁰ A-S⁸.
