Decorated woodcut initials; initial spaces and guide letters. Printed paragraph marks. With foliation and signatures; without catchwords. Register and publisher's device of Ottaviano Scotto at end.

Penn Libraries copy bound in one-quarter leather over wooden boards; ms. paper label pasted to lower board; 3 raised bands on spine; author's name and date of printing stamped in gold on spine; 2 early vellum ms. leaves from a gospel harmony used as pastedowns (Mt. 11:6-19, Lk. 7:18-21 visible on first leaf; Mk. 8:15-21, Mt. 16:5-12, Lk. 12:1, Lk. 20:45-46 visible on second leaf); evidence of catchplates on upper board.
Penn Libraries copy: some pinpoint wormholes through boards; boards damaged at fore-edges; pastedowns lightly wormed; a few wormholes in leaves at beginning and end of volume; wormhole in lower portion of leaves n9-A6 with occasional damage to text and loss of signature mark on leaf 2c1; leaves pi1-2 mended at inner margin; dampstaining at lower inner margin of gatherings pi-k and v-A (more severe staining at beginning and end of volume).
