Summary:
The son of a policeman is repeatedly mistaken for a jewel thief. He is also accused by a woman of being the man who had promised to marry her. Caught up in accusations, he decides to hide out for a while. He masquerades as the jewel thief and it thus appears that the jewel thief masquerades as the cop's son. The audience is left wondering who the real jewel thief is.
