Bound in 18th century full green calf with the arms of John Stuart, 3rd Earl of Bute (Or a fess chequy azure and argent within a double tressure flory counter flory gules) stamped in gold on front and back covers; gold stamped borders and spine decorations; edges stained red; marbled endpapers.
