Summary:

This documentary retells the extraordinary and tragic saga of 267 Congolese representing several different peoples in the 1897 World's Fair in Belgium. Uses flashbacks to that time, and flashforwards to a visit at the exhibit site by Congolese of today to explore the experience, to ask questions, and later to conduct a ritual ceremony of reburial for those who died there.
