Notes:
There are two known editions of this work in the same year distinguished not only by setting of type, but by variations on the title page. For a description of each edition, see McCoy, J.C. Jesuit relations, 28-30. The 2nd issue has title as above except the line "Par le p. Pavl le Ievne"; p. 67 is correctly numbered in [pt. 2] which has been entirely reprinted, etc.
This is what McCoy describes as the "First Edition", in which the 5th line of the title page is in larger type than the other edition, the 8th line ends "Iesus en" and Le Jeune's forename is spelled "Paule".
Signatures: pi² A-D⁸ E-F⁴, ²A-D⁸ E².

Privilege dated 14 Dec. 1638.
Second part has title "Relation de ce qui s'est passé dans le pays des Hurons és années 1637 & 1638", signed by François Ioseph le Mercier, and separate pagination.
