- Edited by Jacques Lefèvre d'Etaples. The first work consists of books 1-14 of the Corpus Hermeticum (also known as the Poimandres or Poemander, the title of book 1), translated into Latin by Marsilio Ficino. The Asclepius is here (as elsewhere) mistakenly described as a Latin translation by Lucius Apuleius Madaurensis; it is sometimes attributed to him and has been transmitted with his philosophical writings. Both the Corpus Hermeticum and the Asclepius have been traditionally wrongly attributed to the fictitious Hermes Trismegistus.

- Chancery quarto. Leaf a4v: 45 lines, plus headline and printed marginalia; area of text: 164 (168) x 101 (113) mm. Three small woodcut initials (one each on leaves a3r, e4v and h4r). Initial spaces with guide-letters; printed paragraph marks. With foliation and signatures; catchwords on verso of last leaf of each gathering and catch-titles on the first two leaves of each gathering.
