Imprint from second colophon (leaf M[Mu]4r), which reads: Impressum Venetiis in aedibus Aldi Romani octauo Calendas Ianuarias MCCCCLXXXXV. Concessum est eidem Aldo ab illustrissimo Senatu Veneto ne cui hunc librum liceat imprimere sub poena ut in gratia.
First colophon (leaf l[lambda]8r): Etypōthē en Enetiais dexiotēti Aldou Manoukiou tou basianeōs.
Variant: on leaf h[theta]4v, some copies have a strapwork woodcut headpiece and initial, while others have a leafwork headpiece and initial.
In most copies, the word "pathē" has been added in contemporary manuscript on leaf a[alpha]1v.
Signatures: a[alpha]-l[lambda]⁸ a⁸ b¹⁰ A[Alpha]-L[Lambda]⁸ M[Mu]⁴.
Leaves a[alpha]2,3,4, and h[theta]1 signed "[alpha]II", "aIII", "aIIII", and "h" respectively.
Super-chancery folio. Leaf a[alpha]3: 31 lines, with some initials extending into margin. Area of text: 227 x 131(136) mm. With signatures. Without foliation. Catchwords on quires "a" and "b" only. Woodcut initials and head-pieces. Rubrication not called for. Register on leaves l[lambda]8r and M[Mu]4r.

Leaf size: 283 x 186 mm.
Library's copy has the leafwork woodcut head-piece and initial on leaf h[theta]4v.
Leaf a[alpha]1v has the Greek word "pathē" added in ms.
Leaf a[alpha]1 mended at upper margin: on recto with clear tape with no loss of text; on verso with white paper with minor loss of text.
Mild dampstaining on first three leaves and on final two leaves.
Stained with black ink on leaves b[beta]8 and c[gamma]1-2.
Binding: one-quarter red morocco over marbled paper boards; seven gold-tooled panels, and gold stamped author's name and imprint on spine; edges speckled red.
With two booksellers' descriptions pasted on front free endpaper.
Ms. notes in pencil on front free endpaper; a few early marginal ms. notes on first leaves; foliated in ms.
