Lea Library Inc F-254 imperfect: leaves a1 and q1 (blanks) wanting. Misprint "Taubla" on leaf q2. Leaves a2-p6 have early ms. foliation (Arabic numerals 1-119) in brown ink; a few ms. underlines and marginal notes and marks in brown ink in text; a few ms. marginal pencil marks in text and ms. pencil note in Lea's hand on back pastedown. Leaf size: 265 x 193 mm. Rubrication: underlines, initials, paragraph marks and occasional capital strokes supplied in red. From the library of Henry Charles Lea with his bookplate affixed to front pastedown and his autograph (1892) on recto of front free endpaper. Autograph of Johannes Andreas Weiss dated 1646. Ex libris of a former owner at foot of leaf q2r. Binding: full vellum with ms. title on spine. Bookseller's printed description of another edition pasted to front free endpaper. Leaves q2-q6 bound before leaf a2; q gathering damaged at inner margin with some leaves mended; pinpoint wormhole in inner margin of leaves a2-a11, d7-p6 and q2-q6; occasional dampstaining, usually at top outside corner of leaves or inner margin, throughout.
