- Summary:
- Hilger discusses her Philadelphia Orchestra audition for Stokowski, Olga Samaroff Stokowski, touring the United States with the orchestra by train in 1935, her experience when Toscanini conducted the orchestra for recordings,recording with Stokowski, Stokowski in comparison to European conductors, Stokowski's relationship with the orchestra, and Stokowski's return to Philadelphia. She mentions Charlie O'Connell and Eugene Ormandy.
