- Wife of Curtis Bok, daughter-in-law of the founders of the Curtis Institute.
- Summary:
- Bok discusses the friendship of her husband's parents with Josef Hofmann; the articles by Hofmann which her father-in-law, Edward Bok, published in Ladies' Home Journal, the Boks' summers at Seal Harbor with the Stokowskis and Hofmanns, her own first meeting with Stokowski, her friendship with Olga Samaroff Stokowski and her daughter Sonya, and her husband's work as president of the Philadelphia Orchestra Association.
- She also discusses her mother-in-law's establishment of the Settlement Music School and the Curtis Institute, Stokowski's position in charge of the orchestra at the new Curtis Institute, the conflict between Arthur Judson and Curtis Bok, Olga Samaroff Stokowski's life after her divorce and her death, Stokowski's openness to experimentation, and the orchestra's difficulty with having their seats shifted to different positions.
