- Summary:
- In an interview for BBC Radio (noted on cassette and transcript as his last radio interview), Stokowski discusses the orchestration, seating, and rehearsals for an upcoming performance of Beethoven's eighth symphony at the Royal Albert Hall; and his enthusiasm for new music, praising (but not naming) the young British composers Peter Maxwell Davies and Harrison Birtwistle.
