Summary:
Merrill discusses a trip to India with Stokowski in 1927; a trip to Russia with Stokowski in 1928; a trip to India, Java, and Bali in 1935, including visits to Gandhi, theosophists Annie Besant and Krishnamurti, and kettle-drum specialist and physicist Jagadis Bose; and a trip to Mexico. She mentions the Heinrich Hertz Institute, Henry Eichheim, and Bill Spratling.
