Summary:
Boatwright describes performing as the soprano soloist in Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 under Stokowski on the occasion of Stokowski's ninetieth birthday and auditioning in his apartment for that part. She mentions Betty Allen, David Zinman, Fred Popper, Boris Goldovsky, and the Dessoffs.

This interview was set up in a brief telephone conversation between Daniel and Helen Boatwright's husband Howard, probably Dec. 6, 1977, which is on cassette tape 124, reel to reel tape and CD 148.
