Summary:
Merrill discusses how she met and married Stokowski in 1926 and divorced him in 1937, Stokowski's experimentation with the capabilities of different instruments during his summer vacations, his involvement with the technical side of orchestra recordings, a trip to India to study music there, and their house in Santa Barbara. She mentions John Hays Hammond, Mabel Dodge Luhan, Henry Eichheim, Sadja, and Luba.
