Summary:
Colvig discusses Stokowski's years with the Houston Symphony Orchestra, his relationship with the orchestra and its management, and his departure from Houston for the Metropolitan Opera. He also discusses a performance of Farberman's Symphony for Percussion and Strings. He mentions Lou Harrison and William Colvig, Barbirolli, Wayne Crouse, John Proffitt, and Kiri Te Kanawa.
