Summary:
Dan Rather interviewed Stokowski in Nether Wallop and London, England for CBS-TV. Stokowski discusses conducting using his eyes; recording in the studio (with excerpts from his recording of the Sibelius Symphony no. 1); and popularizing classical music. Other people interviewed about Stokowski include Henry Pleasants and Andre Kostelanetz. The segment also includes excerpts from the film 100 men and a Girl (1937) and from Fantasia.
