- Levin discusses working with Stokowski in the 1930s; performing the Ravel piano concerto; Stokowski's conflicts with Fritz Reiner, Arthur Judson, and Artur Rodzinski; Stokowski's choice of repertoire, his abilities as a conductor, and his support of women in the orchestra. Levin also mentions meeting Alban Berg in Salzburg before Berg's death.
