- Oliver Daniel reconstructs his interview with Lillian Gish regarding the staged version of Bach's St. Matthew's Passion presented at the Metropolitan Opera in April 1943 in which Lillian Gish played Mary Magdalene. The final portion on the interview was tape recorded and transcribed.
