- A proposed solution of a riddle taken from a Roman epitaph found on a tomb in Bologna in the late 16th century. It purports to be dedicated to a woman named Aelia Laelia Crispis from an unidentified man Lucius Agatho Priscus.
- Dedicated to Antonio Otthobono.
- Leaf [dagger]1 is added title page with engraving of a knot within a circular ouroboros frame bearing the motto: Ingenio connexus dissoluitur arte.
- Title page on leaf [dagger] 2; date of imprint precedes printer's name on title page.
- Signatures: [dagger]⁶ A-N⁴.
- Facing title page has text of the riddle enclosed within square of double ruled lines. Above it are the words: Aenigma quod peperit gloriae antiquitas.
