Summary:
Rhoda Penmark is a polite, well-behaved little girl and a ruthless killer. Her adoring mother Christine discovers what her daughter has done and learns that Rhoda has inherited the "bad seed," a moral blindness that has skipped a generation. Torn between love for her child and grief for Rhoda's victims, Christine must make a harrowing decision.
