Summary:
This is the story of a chase - of a romantic, yet disappearing, way of life - nomadism. You will cover the tracks of itinerant communities throughout India's varying landscapes and populations. Pasoral groups are covered along with other peripatetic groups, aptly called Khanabadosh - Persian for 'home-with-shoulder.' As the least understood and noted part of Indian society, they exist on its fringes. The photos are evocative of the gypsies' unique lifestyle.
