Summary:
Fortunato Depero (1892-1960), the Italian futurist artist, has had a considerable influence in the realm of design. Much of his best work in the USA took the form of immensely striking covers for Vogue and Vanity Fair magazines.
Published to coincide with an exhibition curated by Roberta Cremoncini and shown at the Estorick Collection, London, from October 4th - December 22nd, 2000, and at The Lowry, Salford, from January 20th - April 16th, 2001.
This book has been designed to show Depero's work to best effect, allowing its dramatic visual effects full rein through its lavish presentation.
