Summary:
This CD-ROM contains data that was generated from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Polar Orbiting Environmental Satellite (POES) Advanced Very High Resolution Radiometer (AVHRR) instrument. These data were further processed into Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) data. There are twelve years of global monthly NDVI files on this CD-ROM (April 1985 - December 1997).
