Educator and author; Wickersham served as president of the Lancaster County Educational Association, the Pennsylvania State Teachers Association and the National Teachers Association (later the NEA).
Summary:
Comprises volume of manuscript lecture notes in the hand of D. Heber Plank, taken at Millersville, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The title and attribution are from title page. Additional leaves containing lecture notes are laid in; there are also 3 leaves comprising grade reports for Mr. Plank from Farmers' High School of Pennsylvania, dated 1860. The volume of lecture notes is not dated.
