Foliation: Paper, ii + 232 + ii; 1-172, [iv], 173, [ii], 168-169, [vi], 176-177, [vi], 184-185, [vi], 192-193, [vi], 200-201, [vi], 208, [xii]; near-contemporary foliation in ink; 1-172, [173-232], modern foliation in pencil, upper right recto.
Script: Written in a cursive script by one or two hands.
Decoration: Illustrated with diagrams throughout.
Binding: Contemporary leather with title and attribution on spine. Top quarter of manuscript is water-stained, but text is legible.
Origin: Written in France, 1675-1699.
Marginal notes in pencil in a later hand.
