The internationally established biographical reference work Regents of Nations is now available in a second, revised and expanded edition. It lists some 150,000 political representatives -- monarchs, heads of state, ministers, provincial and colonial governors and princes -- of over 7,000 states throughout the world and throughout all ages, from antiquity to the modern period. The new edition thus lists three times as many individuals and covers seven times as many states as the previous one.
Part 1 covers the various periods of antiquity across regional borders. Parts 2-4 deal with individual continents from the Middle Ages to the modern period. The index volume (Part 5) makes it easy for users to locate
