Summary:
The first single-volume appearance of one of Stein's most accessible plays. Written in 1916, upon Stein's and Alice Toklas's return from the Mallorcan countryside where they had gone to escape the war, this memorable play represents a kind of "belief" in all the possibilities of Mexico, in a world that exists outside of war torn Europe.
