"[Vol. I] contains data relating to trade and tariffs, an analysis of the agreement, and a complete list of individual concessions. Vols. II-VIII, inclusive, consist of digests of information concerning products on which concessions were granted by the United States in the trade agreement with the United Kingdom signed November 17, 1938. These digests are based on information gathered by the Tariff Commission in compliance with that part of Senate resolution 334, 72d Congress, 2d session, which called for a revision of summaries of tariff information previously compiled by the commission. No information obtained from individual concerns has been used in these digests in such form as to reveal the extent of the operations of such concerns."
