Episcopal clergyman and educator. In 1791 he was elected to the office of Vice-Provost of the University of Pennsylvania (Provost 1810-1812), which included the chairs of moral philosophy and the classics.
Summary:
Lecture notes taken by John Henry Hobart on the "Elements of Rhetorick" by John Andrews. Volume numbered 1. Also includes additional loose notes taken by an unknown hand from the lectures of John Fries Frazer in 1864 and other unsigned loose notes dated 1864, 1865, and 1868.
