Title from title page [i]. Parts of title are lost due to insect damage, and are supplied from the title for Audiger's La maison reglée, 1692. The headings for recipes here agree generally with the section "De la distilation" in Audiger's book, but there are significant differences between this text and the Audiger text published in Amsterdam, 1697.
Pagination: Paper, 34; [ii], 1-58, [59-66]; contemporary pagination in ink, modern pagination in pencil, upper outer corners.
Script: Written in a cursive script by a single hand, with additional recipe and notes in a second hand (p. 66, inside lower cover).
Binding: Contemporary calf with gilt border.
Origin: Probably written in the last decade of the 17th century.
