The Salubrity of the use of coal gas having been questioned, in consequence of certain statements made by Dr. Letheby, the Directors of the (Chartered) Gas Light and Coke Company have requested two eminent scientific chemists to report their opinion upon the same, for the satisfaction of the numerous consumers of gas supplied by that Company.
