A summary of a series of sermons by Johannes Geiler von Kaisersbergpublished in Latin in 1511 under the title Nauicula penitentie. Three versions are printed here. "The first of these, which is printed here for the first time, is a manuscript, Cgm. 46, now the property of the Bayerische staatsbibliothek in Munich. The second is a printed edition from the press of Johann Grüninger in Straszburg, bearing the date 1512. The third is a very brief summary, also printed by Grüninger as explanatory text with a very large wood-cut that illustrates in full the allegory of the ship". cf. p. 12.
