Script: Written in a cursive script by two hands, with one listing purchases, the second signed receipts.
Binding: Contemporary parchment. Splitting at upper cover, first quire partly detached.
Origin: Written in Passy, France, January 1783 through 16 March 1784. "Recu de M. Franklin la somme ... a Passy le 7 Fev. 1783. finck" (f. 3r).
