- Script: Written in a cursive script by a single hand.
- Binding: Contemporary parchment.
- There are three contemporary loose notes: one between f. 146-147 with nearly no text on it except for a portion of a letter; a second one between f. 152-153 that appears to be a medical prescription; and a third one with figures on it between f. 235-236.
- Origin: Written in Italy in the 17th century (Zacour-Hirsch).
