"The Hypomnesticum ... is in part a commentary on, in part a paraphrase of the S history, with some chapters added on the persecutions and heresies which afflicted the church. Fabricius is inclined to fix its date at the 10th century ... Cave (i. 397) assigns it to A.D. 420."-- Dict. of Christian biography / edited Smith and Henry Wace, v. 3, p. 460-461.
