Summary:
Story of the Orthodox Church in America as it grew from a frontier outpost in Alaska into a national institution, with many examples of church furnishings lent from North America and from overseas. Depicts the many ethnic contributions which have created the artistic traditions of the Orthodox Christian communities in America, showing the iconography and fabrics of the various furnishings.
